Ep. 584 – Imaginisce Garden Party Collection & Contest!!

Scrap Time - Ep. 584 - Imaginisce Garden Party Collection & Contest!!

Yes, I know it is the first week of January, but I thought some flowers might brighten your dreary wintery day!! So I am showing you the Garden Party Collection from Imaginsce!! I love the colours in the collection, and I think I mention it a few times in the video, but the Brambleberry Blossom (or Cherry Blossom) paper is my favorite!!

Scrap Time - Ep. 584 - Imaginisce Garden Party Collection & Contest!!

On each of my layouts and cards I also used some Glam Rocks that I adhered with my iRock!! Here I used them in the middle of the flowers!

Scrap Time - Ep. 584 - Imaginisce Garden Party Collection & Contest!!

I made this sweet card using the 6″x6″ paper pad. The patterns are smaller, which are great for small pieces!! I also used a Die-Cut piece that I adhered using pop-dots!

Scrap Time - Ep. 584 - Imaginisce Garden Party Collection & Contest!!

And another Fashion Doll card!! Here I was playing with the pleats on the skirt. Then I took the flower stamp, and instead of using the whole stamp, I used part of the stamp to add some design detail around the edge of the card!

Be sure to check out the Imaginisce site to see all of their products!!

Scrap Time – Ep. 584 – Imaginisce Garden Party Collection and Contest! from Mark Giles on Vimeo.

But wait!! Didn’t I mention a contest!! Yes!! You can win the entire Garden Party Collection!! Just leave a comment here letting me know what you love about the Garden Party Collection. (You can also leave a comment about what you love about me too if you wish ;))

Contest closes Sunday, January 9th at 11:59pm EST. And remember to check back on Monday to see if you are a winner!!! Unfortunately, due to the price of postage, this contest is open to Canada and the USA only.

You won’t want to miss the next episode!!! I am giving you a tour of my scrap room!! (Got to finish cleaning it still!)

Thanks for watching!!

What I love about all of Imaginisce collections is how many elements are included…die cuts, layered chip board, flowers, stamps…love it. With this particular collection I like the blues…not a lot of feminine collections have blue, and I think its such a nice contrast.

I just love the colours – very fresh and feminine, and yet there are some papers there that could work with a more masculine theme too. When I saw what you had done, I was really impressed, but then my mind started working and I could see wedding cards and favours, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, thank you and friendship cards, and the list goes on. I also think the papers would work really well with some of the vintage photos that belonged to my grandmother and great grandmother that I’m trying to sort now. Lots of floral hats, garden parties, picnics etc. The photos are black and white and sepia and some yellowing with age, but I can just see them there along with the old-fashioned post cards and notes that were slipped in with the photos. Definitely on my “Must Have” list. Thanks for showing them!
