Ep. 956 – Photomate

Scrap Time - Ep. 956 - Photomate

Today I am showing you the Photomate! I came across this product at CHA and thought it was fabulous! It is a portable backdrop to use to take photos of your projects. I have a small living room, and no matter how I take a photo, there is always stuff in the background. The Photomate gives you that background anywhere in your room, and eliminates the mess! In the video I show you 3 ways to use it.

I have added a piece of twine across the top of my Photomate that I use like a Clothesline to hang my cards. American Crafts has some cute little Clothes Pins that I use to hang the card.

Here I have used 2 pieces of patterned paper. I just taped the back piece to the Photomate to keep it in place.

I bought a larger piece of Japanese paper and I use the Photomate to support it. This gives me the seamless white background.

Gemma on Pointe

I also used the Photomate to take this picture of Gemma on Pointe.

Once I am done with the Photomate I can take it apart, fold it up and put it back into it’s case! Easy storage!

You can order the Photomate directly from their site!

On the next episode I am showing you the We R Memory Keepers Cut Out dies!

Thanks for watching!

So is this vinyl or plastic? It looks really sturdy which would be important for something that will be used over and over again. Thanks for sharing this awesome product!

It is made of non-reflective polypropylene – basically like a sturdy plastic.
