Ep. 951 – Spellbinders in’spire dies

Scrap Time - Ep. 951 - Spellbinders inspire dies

Today I am showing you some of the new Spellbinders in’spire dies. These are individual shaped dies that are perfect for card making. Above I have featured the Shoot, Birds on a Wire and Celebration Sentiments die sets. I love to cut the shapes out of black paper and add them onto my mixed media cards. I find the shape really pops off the busy background.

I did the same technique on these 2 cards using the Celebration Sentiments and the Flower Power II die sets.

There are a wide variety of the Spellbinders inspire dies to choose from. Check them out at Scrapbook.com!

I really love how these came out. The backgrounds are fantastic and using the black die cuts as silhouettes is perfect!

After seeing the glue in your videos I bought some. It is good, although I do use my Xyron sticker maker a lot too, but another way I attach intricate die cuts is to cut a piece off of a sheet of double sided adhesive (such as Jac paper) a bit larger than the die then peel off one side and attach it to the piece of card stock I am going to die cut, then after I cut the shape I can peel off the other piece of backing paper & stick it in place. There are a few brands of card stock available now that have the adhesive & backing paper already on them. Cheers from Australia.
