Today I am showing you some products from the Say Cheese Collection from Simple Stories. This collection has a Disney feel to them, so I thought they would be perfect for my Disney Cruise Album. I just got back from the Cruise on Saturday night and my album is already complete! We had transferred all of the pictures onto our iPad, so I was able to edit them while in the airport and on the plane. By the time I got home they were ready to be printed. I also used a notebook to take notes during the cruise. At lunch or dinner or in the theatre, I would catch up on what we had done and what we ate. I bought some postcards on the boat and used one on the cover of the album. The album pages are approximately 6 1/4″ x 8 1/2″.
I started by writing all of my journaling on the page inserts and put them at the beginning of the album. This tells the story of our cruise. I then used the chipboard dividers to divide the book into: The Boat; Characters; Islands; New Year’s Eve; Food; and Farewell. On each of the dividers I added a Quote from the 12×12 sheets of journal cards that you cut apart or you can get the Snap Cards!
I also added some of the journal cards throughout the album when I didn’t have a picture to fill the spot. Some were quotes and some I journaled on.
On the cruise we get left cards and invites, so I added this ephemera into the 4×6 pockets.
There are also Snap Cuts, and I added one here to fill the spot.
I kept all of our Navigator’s in a pocket at the back of the album as well. In the video you will see my ephemera throughout the book. You can get a variety of page protectors for the album. I love that my album is stuffed with photos and journaling!!
