Ep. 912 – Elle’s Studio and Lawn Fawn Journal Cards & Die

Scrap Time

Today I am showing you some Journaling Cards from Elle’s Studio and the Stitched Journaling Card Die Set from Lawn Fawn Stamps! These are perfect for pocket scrapbooking, or to use on your Scrapbook Layouts! I have a variety of cards from Elle’s Studio. A few of the tags were 4″x6″ so I just cut them in half to fit in the 3″x4″ pockets. Elle’s Studio has 12×12 sheets of paper that have journal cards for 2 months of the year! You can buy the whole year on 6 pieces of paper!!

The Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Card Die set includes a 3″x4″ die with rounded corners and stitched markings. As well, you get a set of small dies that you can cut out of the journal spot. And there is a banner that you can add on top of a card. I love to cut journal spots that go Horizontally as well as Vertically. I also use the die to cut out pieces of my art to add to the book.

Another favourite from Elle’s Studio are the Penelope Frames. I just glue them onto my picture, then cut around it! The frames come in a variety of prints.

Elle’s Studio offers lots of different products! They are available at both Simon Says Stamp and Scrapbook.com! When you shop at both of these online sites using our links, Scrap Time receives a percentage of the sale and we appreciate your support!

Great products for this type of album. Love the little die set, could work great for all kinds of tags and cards! TFS!

I totally love the idea of cutting down larger pieces of artwork to use on pages or pocket pages. I have plans to cut down some of my brothers not so great art pieces to incorporate into my memory keeping pages that will have something to do with him. No need to see the larger “practice” paintings, but bits and pieces will look great as stand alones!
