Ep. 911 – Letterpress Kit by Lifestyle Crafts & Giveaway!

Today I am showing you the Lifestyle Crafts Letterpress Kit! They have updated it with new Printing Plates, as well, you now get 5 different colours of mini tubes of ink! The Letterpress platform will fit in most of the die cutting machines on the market. I am using the new Lifestyle Crafts Evolution Die cutting machine in the video!

The difference between Letter Pressing and Embossing is when you Letterpress you are just pressing the design into a thicker paper – the back is completely flat. You can emboss with most papers and there is texture from the design on both the front and back of the paper.

Once you start Letter Pressing it goes quickly! I made 6 of each of the 6 card designs, plus matching envelopes, in just over 2 hours! I am now packaging them up to give them as gifts to my relatives and Gemma’s teacher! A set of cards also make perfect Hostess Gifts! And the Letter Pressed cards look so professional!

Lifestyle Crafts also offers Custom Letterpress Plates! You design your own and they will make it for you! Perfect if you are planning a wedding or party! Or just to have your own design!!

You can buy all of the Letterpress Plates, papers and accessories at www.shopWeR.com!

You may have heard that We R Memory Keepers have bought Lifestyle Crafts! So now, when you shop at www.shopWeR.com you not only get 20% off all of Lifestyle Crafts products, but you also get 20% off all of We R Memory Keepers products! Just use the promo code “SCRAPTIME” when you check out!!

And to celebrate the merger, I have a giveaway!! I am giving away an Album Made Easy, Page Protectors and Journaling Cards! The actual design will be picked by WRMK! This is the album I use for my weekly memory keeping that I am always showing you!! Just leave a comment here on the Scrap Time blog letting me know what you are asking Santa for Christmas!!

The letterpress kit is great–we used it to make letterpress invitations and all the thank you notes for my daughter’s wedding last summer. They had a friend design it all, we had the dies made and used the kit, worked wonderfully! I’m asking Santa for some new craft stuff–Tim Holtz and Copic markers (just a few) and the new pen tool for my Pazzles machine. Thanks for a chance to win some products–love we r Memory keepers products.

    Hi Cristine!
Thank you for all the videos and the blog. In Spain where I live presents are traditionally delivered by the three wise men, and although Santa is a new tradition, this year I will ask him health and strengh for my first son who will be born in January.
    Feliz Navidad!

I love the look of letterpress, but have never worked with it. Looks like fun.
My Christmas list doesn’t have a lot on it this year, some crafty supplies for the most part. I treated myself to a Silhouette Cameo on Black Friday, so I can use some supplies to use with that.
Thanks for showing us this letterpress kit and for the chance to win the great prize from WRMK! Sure do have a lot of prizes on the blog this week. This is fun!

I am asking Santa for the 12 x 14 Gelli plate. I have so much fun with my smaller one, but I want to be able to create in a larger size. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Hi Christine: I am actually not asking Santa for anything for myself this year- well I guess I am sort of. What I am asking for is that my father’s health will improve in the new year. He has the middle stages of Parkinson’s disease. I know the reality of his situation but I do hope for his sake and my mother’s that things will get a little better.

I was asking Santa again this year for a die-cutting machine. I think he keeps running out by the time he gets to my house. Darn… (smile)

I’m asking Santa for a 2 week Caribbean vacation. If I get it, Dasher will be jealous! If you see Santa, put in a good word for me!
