Today I am showing you the Viva Colour White Crackle Paint. I started by painting a layer of Luminarte Silks Acrylic Glaze onto my paper. This is an optional step. Then I applied a coat of Crackle Base Coat. You just need a very thin coat. This will dry clear. Once it is dry you can apply your White Crackle Paint. I like to use a palette knife. You want to spread the paint going in one direction. I like to vary the thickness of the paint, so I get different sized cracks. You can set the piece aside or dry it with a heat gun. The thicker you applied the paint, the longer it will take to dry. You should see cracks appearing really quickly. Once it is dry I applied another colour of the Luminarte Silks Acrylic Glaze.
If you want to get that Crackle finish, the Viva Colour White Crackle Paint is easy to use!!
On the next episode I am doing a technique using the Faber-Castell White Pitt Pen!
Thanks for watching!
