CHA Winter 2013 - Day 1

The votes are in!!! It is time to vote for your ultimate favourite trend of the show!! Day 1 was Cameras vs Mason Jars!! There were 83 votes for Cameras, 56 votes for Mason Jars, 1 vote for Neither and 1 vote for Both!! So Cameras win!!!

CHA Winter 2013 - Day 1

Day 2 we saw Stencils vs Die-Cutting! This seemed to be a harder vote for you guys. In the end there were 50 votes for Stencils, 72 votes for Die Cutting, 4 votes for Both and 1 vote for Neither!! So Die-Cutting takes the win, but I do know a lot of you love to stencil!!     For me it’s doilies all the way! I have always been fascinated by all kinds. The dollar store packages, plastic, lacy, antique, paper … any that I can get my hands on. Hooray for adding a little old fashioned to our art.

    I must go with die cutting. I know it’s not a very “cutting edge” trend, but so many new things are coming out and ways to use dies differently. It’s a classic that is always changing.

    I’d have to choose die cutting for versatility. I would get bored with too many individual motifs. Die cutting lets you choose different motifs.
