CHA Winter 2013 - Day 1

Or, would you rather do Die Cutting!! Wow!! It seems so many companies are now making dies! Spellbinders is pushing the envelope with their new Imperial Gold dies (video coming soon)! You can cut, emboss, deboss, stencil and do letterpress with these dies!!

CHA Winter 2013 - Day 2

It seems that more stamp companies are making Stamp/Die Cutting sets!! Above is just 1 set from Doodlebug/Hampton Arts/Sizzix.

So, the question is Would You Rather do Stencilling or Die Cutting?

Place your vote here on the Scrap Time blog! You have until Wednesday, January 16th at midnight to enter! On Thursday I will add up the winners from each day and on Thursday there will be a final showdown!

Wow, what a choice. i think i will have to say “stencils”. I am a colorant fanatic, and stencils just fit in perfectly with that. Plus, other than a colorant of some kind, no other tool is necessary.

    My vote is for stenciling.

But if companies ever come out with stamp/die combos that work for embellishment clusters on scrapbook pages (think label dies/stamps, banner dies/stamps & journaling card dies/stamps all in one kit) then I would go that way. I keep looking and not finding what I want. Curious to see the new stuff spellbinders has. Thanks for bringing us fun and games from CHA!

Hard to chose as I love to use them both, but for a chance to win one or the other you could pick it for me would use either. Hope you are having a blast checking out all the new stuff and meeting all the designers.

Perhaps stencils for the background with dies over them!

Die cutting on this one I feel its so much more versitile then stencils… plus it just seems like alot less work, and who doesn’t love less work :)

This is a REALLY hard choice – I love them both. But I’m going to have to say ….. die-cutting. :-)

That’s a really tough choice but think I will have to go with stencilling. I love to use sprays with stencils on cards, scrapbook pages and mixed media projects.
