One of the events that takes place the day before the CHA Show opens is Innovations Showcase. Companies can submit their products, and then a group of judges pick their top 20 to be showcased. At the event someone from each company has 1 minute to tells us about their products. Then we have 40 minutes to check them out! I have 3 favourites from the showcase. First up, in no particular order (I want them all) are the new Faber-Castell Gelato colours! Love the combinations! As well, they have a misting kit to make your own custom colour mists using the Gelatos!
Next we have these Encaustic Wax Cubes from Purple Cows! If you have ever wanted to buy coloured Encaustic Wax it is expensive! They are offering this smaller cubes at a smaller price! As well, they have a tool set to use with the wax!
My 3rd pick is the Distress Paints! I was able to watch Tim work with them briefly and I am a believer!!
