My Weight Watchers leader always says “Your body is a Chemistry Lab, not a Bank Machine”, and that is how I felt this week. Last week I explained a bit about the Points we are given on Weight Watchers. I was also talking about how I was trying to eat more. So this week I earned 32 Activity Points and ate 29 of them. I didn’t eat any of my Weekly points. So you would think I would lose weight, but I stayed the same. That’s not what you want to hear when you are 1.6 lbs away from your next big goal. So then you begin to wonder why – maybe I gained muscles from my Yoga Classes – maybe I shouldn’t have eaten those Sour Cream n’ Onion Pringles the night before getting weighed – maybe my body is going through a cycle. When really I just need to start my week fresh, continue doing what I am doing, and have been doing for the past 8 months, and not try to understand how our bodies work.
