Ep. 804 – Love My Tapes

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

Today I am showing you some new tape designs from Love My Tapes! You all should know that I am totally addicted to decorative tapes, so today I am showing you a few ways to use your tapes for gift wrapping!

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

First off I love to use the tapes when wrapping gifts. I start with a gift wrapped in Kraft paper that I get from the post office. I then choose tapes, depending on the occasion and cover the gift with the tapes. This is the sample I made during the video. Usually I would keep going, adding layers of tape. You get so much tape on a roll, that this is a great way to actually use some of the tape!

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

A variety of stores that I shop at give you these plain Kraft bags when you buy something. I save these bags for gift giving. Here I just added strips of tape up the bag. Fast, easy and adds a fun touch to the gift!

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

I love to add Washi Tape to the letters I send! The Post Office Workers love it and the person receiving the parcel loves it!

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

Love My Tapes also has a variety of Fabric Tapes. These add a nice texture to your projects! I love the little boxes the tapes come in!

Scrap Time - Ep. 804 - Love My Tapes

This is a simple gift tag I made. I added a strip of fabric tape to it as well! Easy to make and it is bright and cheerful!!

Simon Says Stamp carries a variety of Washi Tapes, including tapes from Love My Tapes! When you shop at Simon Says Stamp using our links, Scrap Time receives a percentage of the sale and we appreciate your support!

Oh noooo, I think my resistance to the washi tape addiction may be futile!!!

I don’t have any Washi yet, but I think I might just invest in a roll or two. I got a pkg from you once and as soon as I saw it, I knew what it was. That tape was almost like a signature for you. LOL. Love what you do with it.

Well I just have to say……….I love washi tapes!!! I don’t have too many of them, but I did get quite a few of the Tim Holtz tissue tapes :) …..which to me are pretty much the same. ;) …….BTW awesome videos, I love that you show us the new products that are coming out!!! Thanks for being such a great inspiration to us all and for showing us all the different ways we can use products.
