CHA – Winter 2010 Day 1

Wow, I can’t believe it is only the end of Day 1! We were so busy today! We started our day at 8am in the press room. CHA opened the doors at 10am! Our first stop was at the Sizzix booth to see Tim Holtz! He was signing his dies to give out to people. Well, a lot of the manufacturers also wanted some, so while we were outside lining up, they were inside lining up at the Sizzix booth. By the time we got there, the line was really long!! So we took a picture and moved on!! See that trunk beside Tim, that is his new Die Cutting machine!!

A big trend I am seeing is 3-Dimensional flowers made from Patterned Paper. Here are some from Pink Paislee, The Girl’s Paperie and Cosmo Cricket!

We also got to go to the Cricut Cake Gala! SO fun! On this cake, all the blue lace work was cut using the new Cricut Cake machine!! SO cool!!!

While we were at the Cricut Party I got to meet the Girls from Calendar Girl’s Designs! They post many projects weekly, all centered around the Cricut! So if you are looking for more Cricut Inspiration check out www.cricutchristmas.blogspot.com.
