If you are not familiar with Weight Watchers I am going to explain the point system. You are allotted a daily number of points. This number is determined by your current weight and age. The lowest number of daily points is 26. If these points aren’t consumed in a day, you lose them. Then you are allotted 49 weekly points. These can be eaten any time throughout the week. Finally, you can earn Activity Points, which you can eat throughout the week. Once a new week starts, all your points start over. It is said that you can eat all your daily and weekly points and still lose weight.
I have been sticking to my Daily allotment and only using a few of my Activity Points, trying not to use my Weekly points. But I thought, now that I am getting to a happier place in my weight loss, to experiment eating more!! My problem is my conscious – I am trying to wrap my head around eating more and still losing weight.
So last week I ate more – Thursday – 32PP, Friday – 26 PP, Saturday – 41PP, Sunday – 27PP, Monday – 26PP, Tuesday – 28PP, and Wednesday – 29PP. I ate 27 out of my 44 Activity Points!! This was huge for me!
So I went to weigh-in and guess what!! I lost 1.8lbs!! The most I have lost over the past few weeks! So I guess I will continue trying to eat more and see what happens!!
