Ep. 802 – Lifestyle Crafts Fall & Halloween Dies

Scrap TIme - Ep. 802

Today I am showing you some of the Fall and Halloween dies being released by Lifestyle Crafts! First up, I made this Art Journal page using the the drippy border from Frightful Edges! I cut it from a green glitter paper, then applied Glossy Accents over the entire piece to give it that glossy look. I also used the Spider Die by cutting it out of thin foam to make a stamp, then stamping it in Black paint across my page. For the background I used Dylusions spray mists in Crushed Grape and Black Marble. The little Bats Eyes were made using a Pearl Pen from VivaDecor!

Here you can see how I made the Spider stamp. I used a thin foam and I rolled my die through my machine about 5 times, to make sure it cut through. A good idea is to apply an adhesive sheet to the foam before cutting, but I ended up gluing it onto this piece of thin acrylic with Studio Multi Medium.

I made this card using the other edge in the Frightful edge collection. At first I thought I would make something to look like metal, hence the silver paper. But then Gemma said it looked like Monster teeth. So we started designing the monster thinking the bottom would be teeth. We added the Monster details using the Build a Monster die. Then we added the moustache, that looked like a mouth and decided the bottom of the card would be the monsters fur! So there are many ways to interpret this die!!

I love the Coffin Box! Gemma wants to make these for Halloween for her classmates! I added the Spider and Scull and Crossbones to make them a little more spooky!

As part of their Fall Collection is this great Classic Doily die! If you want it, get it fast! The Doilies tend to sell out!! I decided to make them into napkin holders. I then added the Maple Leaf with our names on them, to make them into place settings! Perfect for Thanksgiving Dinner!

Finally, I made these cute cards using the Feathers die and the Maple Leaves! Feathers are gaining in popularity, so now you can cut feathers to match all of your projects!!

I used Tim Holtz Lost and Found papers for the Fall projects.

What a fun bunch of products! I think that zig zag die could work great as fire and where you did the bats eyes, you could make those little spaces into ghosts too. Lots of fun projects. TFS!
