Ep. 801 – Country Boutique by Fancy Pants Designs & a Contest!!

Scrap Time - Ep. 801 - Country Boutique by Fancy Pants Designs

Today I am showing you the Country Boutique collection by Fancy Pants Designs! I like this collection because of all of the fabulous neutral patterns! You could use these papers for a variety of topics! I chose to do a Scrapbook layout of our new cat Tulip! I also love the Corrugated sheets – both Kraft & black, that come with the collection!

Scrap Time - Ep. 801 - Country Boutique by Fancy Pants Designs

I also made this Art Journal page. I collaged a variety of the papers, then did a white wash of paint, then sprayed a mist over top to give the antiqued look. I used holding paste over a doily stencil I have. I added the Corrugated paper again and rubbed some paints and stains over it. I then added the die-cut pennants that come with the collection.

Scrap Time - Ep. 801 - Country Boutique by Fancy Pants Designs

Finally I made a card. I layered the papers, corrugated paper and die cuts. It’s simple to make, but I love all the textures in the card!

Scrapbook.com carries the Country Boutique Collection! When you shop at Scrapbook.com using our links, Scrap Time receives a percentage of the sale and we appreciate your support!

    Love your nail art!!
I have just pulled apart some packaging to get at the corrugated layer. I have several cards to make for the men in my family, and planned on using the corrugated card for a more masculine look!
Thanks for the tip on adding a little colour!

Hi Christine, I’m currently making Oct. birthday cards with fun stamps from Hero Arts that are Vintage Hot Air Balloons or Airships. Good for masculine cards. I’m thinking and playing with various designs for my Christmas cards too. Thanks for an opportunity to win the Fancy Pants prize.

Lately I’ve been just making whatever I feel like making – usually just general cards, but I really have to get my butt in gear to get my Christmas Cards made – December will be here before we know it! :)

It is only September but I am already busy working on my Christmas Cards. In this day and time when we seem not to write letters because we text or email, I love sending Christmas cards and adding my special message to each.
I send out about 75 to 90 cards each years and am told by many that they save my cards and display them every year. This makes me happy to know that my friends and family love getting my cards as much as I love making them. I love the Fancy Pants paper. Would love to use them on some vintage pages. Thank you for a chance to win them. By the way, you look great!!!

I’m currently working on BD and anniversary cards–our anniversary is in September, along with very good friends, but in October it’s the BD and anniversary megathon–I have 10 cards to make! I love making Fall decorations as well, but have quite a few from previous years. I’m also working on ideas for this year’s Christmas card–and finishing up my yearly calender.

    Hi

I have a number of projects about to get underway

1 – Making thank you cards for 80+ people involved in my current theatre project
2 – Making handmade chocolates for them all!
3 – And for me, I am getting the cross stitch bug again!

No idea when I will find the time!

Hi! I’m presently doing Shimelle Laine’s “Learn Something New Every Day” in September course. Phew! I’m finding it difficult to keep up at the moment. Once that’s completed, I’ve got a holiday album to do, and finish off my 2012 art journal for the rest of the year – lot’s to add coming up, as well as Halloween and Christmas, there’s my birthday, lots of friends birthdays, a Star Trek convention (!) plus I’m having an operation at the start of November, I’ll even scrap that!

Nice prize package! Thanks to Fancy Pants.

I’ve been busy working on projects. It’s back to school for kids so I’m putting myself back into my projects. The multi-medium products are all over the work space (and my hands). This paper pack lends itself nicely to these products. Hope I win!

PS ~ We have the SAME cat! Uncanny! Weird! And miles and miles apart. Mine is a bit older but I can’t believe how close the markings are.
