Ep. 795 – Lifestyle Crafts Pool Party Dies & Contest!

Pool Party Dies

Today I am showing you the Pool Party Limited Edition dies from Lifestyle Crafts! I am starting with a variety of the 2″x2″ dies: frozen treat, watermelon, sun and flip flops! I love using these 2″x2″ shapes to make cute little note cards. I add these cards into Gemma’s lunch and she knows I am thinking about her while she is at school!

Pool Party Dies

On this card I used the sun border design and the umbrella. The sun die only cuts the rays out, so you can add it to a larger sheet of paper for a big sun! The umbrella comes with the solid umbrella shape, as well as the 4 individual pieces that makes up the umbrella. This die is cute on Shower Invitations as well!!

Pool Party Dies

I have used the cloud border on this card. It is the same idea as the sun, only cutting the clouds out. The stamp set is Button Bits from Papertrey Ink.

Pool Party Dies

Here I used the Nesting Pinking Circles to form my sun! Then I added the flip flops, making it look like they are walking across the sand.

All of these dies are available now from LifestyleCrafts.com! Be sure to check out the entire Pool Party release! And used the promo code SCRAPTIME to receive your 20% off!!

BTW – the Genius Platform is available as of Monday, August 27th Morning!! Get one before the sell out!!

I am giving away a set of the dies that I have featured in this post!! Just leave me a comment letting me know how you like to use your dies! Do you make cards? Scrapbook layouts? Art Journals? Home Decor?

Contest closes Saturday, September 1st, 2012 at 10pm EST!!

Hi, These Pool Party dies are too cute! I use my dies for scrapbook page making to add embellishments to the pages. I also use dies for collage, multi-media, cards or whatever strikes my fancy when I am in creative mode. Last year I took a childrens board book (five pager) and covered it with Christmas decorative paper, added lots of pockets and journal tags and spaces to write. I recorded all my events, where I went, who I sent cards to, and received from, what I gave, what I received, the meals I made, my to-do list, notes on special moments that made me happy during the season, I even had my family record comments in the book. Now I have a permanent record of last year. I am going to do another one for this year.
