In July, The Paper Place held a Letter Writing Social! This was a free event and when we arrived there was a line up down the street. Once inside there were people every where starting to create their letters!
The Paper Place put out a great spread of crafting materials! Lots of Japanese papers, washi tape, twine and ribbons, stamps and more!
There was also the Love Lettering project which I decided to take part in!
I wrote my letter about my love for Toronto! We still have to leave it some where for someone to find.
Mark came with us and his favourite part was the stamps from Toronto’s First Post Office! They had stamps dating back many years, and you can still use these stamps on your letters! We got a bunch of them. I want to add mine to some projects. I’m not sure what Mark is doing with his.
Gemma loved using the Type Writer.
She made her own letter for someone to find!
Like all good parties, there were refreshments too!
We had a great time at The Paper Place Letter Writing Social and we hope it becomes an annual event!!
