I went to my meeting yesterday to find out I gained 1 lb. But after the last 3 weeks, I am fine with that! I spent 6 days in Chicago, the home of the Deep Dish Pizza! When I came home I did my best to exercise and eat well, resulting in a 1.8 lb loss! That led me into 5 days in Montreal!! In Montreal we enjoyed so many great foods!! Fresh out of the oven Bagels, Poutine, Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwiches, Poutine, Tourtiere’s, Poutine, Crepe’s, Poutine, Steamies, and the most amazing dessert – Millefeuille, layers of pastry, custard and whipped cream!! Although we walked, and walked, and walked I guess the cheese curds caught up with me!
However, if I compared my weight to 3 weeks ago, I have actually lost 0.8 lbs!! I was able to enjoy some delicious food, in moderation, and not get thrown too much off my progress!! With that being said, I do not regret 1 bite of food I have had in the past 3 week! Now I have 3 months to stick to plan, try to continue to lose before my next big trip!!
