I am voting for the washi tape as you can use them in many ways to add texture, and make nice borders on cards and scrapbook pages. You can colour them with stains and inks. They are fun to use!

Ooooh that’s a hard one, both are great. I choose washi tape just because there are so many delicious patterns and colours from which to choose. Washi tape is so versatile, I use it in my smash books and in my collage work and will be using it in many upcoming craft projects.

Well, from a practical point, I will have to vote for twine as I don’t own any washi tape, and don’t need to buy ANOTHER product, that I will forget I own anyway! My goal is to use what I own and be content. Thanks for the chance to win!

for me, washi tape has it all over twine
i love the look and feel of it
    and the variety
it becomes part of a project so fast
but if you dont like where you put it, just move it
actually, i dont use twine at all
if i want to tie something, i use ribbons or fibers
if i want to stitch on something i use thread or hemp
    thanks for this creative site

Both are great but twine is more versatile as you’re not limited by a pattern, however—tape makes great flowers. Maybe a little bit of both is the answer.

I must admit though, I am loving that washi tape holder and all those juicy colors and all that tape goodness. So I guess its washi, but oh no there is all that colorful twine I can swirl and curl with on those same pages, cards and journals. Oh my….I say its a tie. I want them both and oh so much more . Washi tape is cool, but I really haven’t used it much and think twine is more versatile–you can add it to so many things, I think the washi tape patterns may limit how many times or colors you can use it for. I guess I’m also budget conscious–I can always cut strips of patterned paper to get different patterns and textures. Looking forward to all the new videos!

I use more washi tape than twine but I love the look of both.

Washi tape! As an avid crocheter it just feels weird to buy “yarn” (even scratchy stuff like twine ;) ) in such tiny portions. But tape is so easy to use and sooooooo much more variety! :)

Washi tape for me ! (although I like all the different colors twine comes in now).

Washi tape! HANDS DOWN! Twine is cute. Washi tape is addiction. Besides, you can’t adhere a love note on the fridge with twine as easily as cuuute cute cute washi tape.

    :)

I love the washi tape as the potential is very wide for use plus you can personalise with own stamps too.

I’ve never used Washi Tape and it does look interesting. However I love the look and texture of twine….the country girl coming out in me I guess!

I would say I prefer twine rather than washi tape, only cause I really don’t use washi tape. Maybe in the future, thanks for the chance to win.

Even though I LOVE tape~I am ADDICTED to TWINE more!! I use it on almost EVERYTHING and I don’t think I could ever finish a project without using it!! THANKS for sharing and for the chance to win!! Have a FABULOUS WEEKEND!! =)

I would have to chose washi tape. I like the look of twine as well but know, based on my stash of fibers, I wouldn’t use it as much as washi tape.
