Today I am showing you some of the latest Lifestyle Crafts to be released at CHA! I am starting with the Nesting Frames 10! You get a pile of nesting dies in this set! I used them to make the cards above! I added a Butterfly from the Butterfly Punch Die!
Next I am showing you the Nesting Doily Dies! Above I used the middle size to make these flowers! If you want to learn how to make the flowers, check out my Paper and Fabric Flower Online class! I like to use the doilies for these flowers since you get the nice decorative edges!
This time I used the small doily to make these flowers, also featured in the Paper and Fabric Flower Online class! I used Tim Holtz Tissue Paper. If you haven’t tried it yet you should check it out! It isn’t as thin as other tissue papers and is great for working with inks and mediums!
This is the Doily Edge die. This die only cuts the doily edge, therefore you can make beautiful designs along the side of your project!
Finally I did an Art Journal page. I used Distress Stains for the Background. I then made masks of the Doily Edge and the nesting doilies, and used them with Distress Inks to make some texture on the page. I cut a variety of the Butterflies, using the Butterfly Punch die and glued them on the page!
