WW – Hamburger and Fries!

With Summer now in full swing one of my favourite foods are Hamburgers!! But Hamburgers can be filled with so many calories!! So I have found a way to enjoy a Hamburger and Fries whenever I want to! I start with the Blue Menu Sirloin Burgers. These are 4 PPV each! You could always make your own burger with extra lean beef. Now you should check your buns carefully. Wonder buns are 4PPV, but Dempster’s came in at 3 PPV! If you are adding BBQ sauce, that’s another PPV. Then I like to add some cheese – I use 1/6 cup of the Kraft Light cheese, for 1 PPV and, finally top it with Ketchup, another PPV. So my made at home burger has now totalled 10 PPV!! So, imagine how many points a burger at a restaurant is!! I like to serve some Mc Cain Frozen Fries baked in the oven, for 3 PPV!     Great!!! Another thing to try are sweet potato fries instead of regular. Have you heard of Hungry-Girl and her delicious low points, easy to make dishes? You should check her out. Her name is Lisa Lillian and she is a former WW member and is recognized by them. Congrats!

    Congrats on how well you have been able to make the WW plan your own! I have been on WW for quite some time myself, but have had some slip-ups. All in all, WW is a very healthy plan, so i am sticking with it. Continued success to you, And btw… I enjoy all of your videos!

    WTG Christine! Doesn’t it stink that many of our favorites take up so many points? As long as you’re good with that though, it’s fine. I find sometimes the trade off is sooooo worth it to have a little of something I really love and want and then deal with cutting in different ways.

    Great job Christine. I am so in the mood for that meal!! I was going to go to hte store tmw and try and so just the same, but instead of fries, I am going to make a one potato , potato salad with some dill relish and lite mayo and some vinegar.
    I am looking forward to that burger.
    I was so good over the holiday, and I watche d my points all week, and did not eat any “bad/junk” foods. My points were all from great choices. Unfortunately, and I dont understand how, I put on a pound. :(
    But I am not getting discouraged. I will continue on this journey, one day at a time!

      I don’t understand how our bodies work. So far I have only gained once, and it was the week I exercised the most. Ironically, I find the weeks I eat a little more are the weeks I lose a little more. This past week I didn’t eat much and exercised and only lost 0.8. So I just be happy it was a loss. 1 lb isn’t much and you will probably have it off next week. In 1 week I go to Chicago so I am getting a little concerned. But I have already told myself I am going to enjoy myself and eat that deep dish pizza!!
