I have been waiting months to announce our big news!!! We have entered the book market!! But not just any books, iBooks!! Scrap Time: the book includes videos and photo galleries plus interactive links! This is all brand new content that I put together just for the book! The books contains an intro video, then 5 how to videos plus an exclusive video that we filmed at CHA asking some of your favourite designers 5 fun questions!! Our plan is to be continuously making more of these books throughout the year!
The next book is How to Make 10 Fabulous Fabric Flowers. I have taken 10 videos from the Fabric and Paper Flower Class and turned them into this book! I am hoping to still make the book featuring the 10 Paper Flowers. I am going to be doing a series of these books as well – basically having an online class in a book format! I am currently working on a book all about Spray Mists. It was going to be 10 videos, but I think I am up to 16!!
The 3rd book that is currently available is the CHA Winter 2012 book. We filmed exclusive videos for the book that didn’t appear on Scrap Time! As well, I have compiled photos into different categories, making little galleries of them in 1 place! This book is FREE!! It’s a good way to see what an iBook is all about!! And we have plans on producing another one when we attend CHA in July!
So those are our 3 books currently available. They are available in 32 iTunes stores around the world!! However, they can only be viewed on an iPad.
I hope you will support us as we enter this new, exciting media!!
And now for the contest!! I am giving away 5 downloads of Scrap Time: the book and 5 downloads of How to Make 10 Fabulous Fabric Flowers!! Leave me a comment here letting me know what you think of the books and any topics you would love me to cover!! If you buy the book and then win a copy, I will give you a code for the next book for free!!
Contest closes Sunday, June 24th, 2012 at 10pm EST!!
