Ep. 760 – Studio Calico & My New York Mini Album!

Scrap Time - Ep. 780 - Studio Calico & my New York Mini Album

Today I am showing you some new products from Studio Calico! This includes products from the Abroad, Take Note and Classic Calico Collections! There are some great Wooden Veneer Shapes, Fabrips, Paper Clips, new Mr. Huey colours, masks and alphabets!

Scrap Time - Ep. 780 - Studio Calico & my New York Mini Album

I started by adding Gesso to all the pages using a Palette Knife. Then, on some of the pages I sprayed the red Mr. Huey over the Chevron Mask. I then added Washi Tape. I also cut a piece from the Fabrips and added it with the tape! After I put on the picture, I stamped the name of the place using the Sally’s ABC’s stamp set from Lawn Fawn Stamps!

Scrap Time - Ep. 780 - Studio Calico & my New York Mini Album

On the other pages I followed the same steps, but replaced the misting with doilies I cut from the papers using the Floral Doily Die from Lifestyle Crafts!

Here is another page with the doily, but I also added one of the Wooden Veneer Shapes!

Looks like you had a fun trip. Before I moved to California 20 years ago, I lived in NY for over 50 years. I think you saw more of NY than I did.

Looks like you had a fun trip. Made me homesick. Before I moved to California about 20 years ago, I lived in NY and I think you covered everything (except maybe Macy’s).

Hi Christine & family, I have recieved the gypsy & cartridge I bought from your sale. Thanks so very much. I have been enjoying watching your flower classes and plan on making some of the flowers this weekend. I am also inspired by the mini album and plan on using the ideas to make a mini album with each of my 3 family visitors from Australia in July – their first trip to Canada. It will be a great momento for them to keep. I also enjoyed the Crafty Toronto segment and I think it was great that Gemma got to participate.

Some pretty cool products. I love the little veneer shapes and with all that you get, you can sure make a lot of projects. Love your NYC album, you really are on top of things. I take forever to get to things like that. Very nice job on it!
