Today I demonstrate the Cuttlebug. The Cuttlebug comes with: a spacer (A), 2 thin cutting mats (B) and 1 thicker cutting mat (C). To use the Cuttlebug dies you use: A – the spacer, B cutting mat, the die and paper, and then another B cutting mat.
To use the Cuttlebug embossing folders it is the same combination: the spacer A, B cutting mat, the embossing folder with the paper in the middle and then the 2nd B cutting mat.
The C cutting mat is used with thinner dies that I will demonstrate next Friday.
You can check out the Cuttlebug and the Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders at the Provo Craft website.

My SIL has the CBug and she loves it. However, i wasn’t aware that the ‘sucky’ thing didn’t suck as much as first few cuts (LOL) – another thing i love about the dies is the fact that i can use them on my sizzix machine. Very versatile! Thanks again, for the demo.
Love your videos!
Just wan to say how much I LOVE your show and I love your new hairdo as well. You look great!:)
Love your new hair style.
I’ve been using the Cuttlebug dies with my Sizzix and Sizzix Sidekick.
I find that all those suction thingies lose their suction unless you’re on glass of something that smooth. And even then it will still lose suction after a long time.
Thank you for the video, I heard the word cuttlebug but didn’t know what it did and you answered that question. I have a Cricut Expressions ( just got it ) but I think a cuttle bug would be a nice addittion for embossing. Again thanks for the demo and I will definatly be checking back. Deanna
Hi there, great video. I was just wondering if you could do a video on cutting felt flowers. I’m not sure if this machine is the right one to buy for this or not.
Thanks!

Just watched the Cuttlebug video. Mine is new,but my big thing is in using the cutting dies. I have followed the instructions exactly ( A, B, die foam up, paper, B) and am getting die impressions on my plates! Help! What am I doing wrong? Am afraid to try again. Many thanks! Susan
Just found this website – love it. Same as Susan I got a Cuttlebug today – and got die impressions on the plates. Also having problems with it just going through and seems tight a space. I don’t want to force it – A, B, diecut, paper and B. It looks and sounds so basic and easy – but is it the operator or how I do it. Thanks
Robbie
I have the exact same problem: I got a Cuttlebug today – and got die impressions on the plates.
What’s the deal?
Yes, you get die impressions on your cutting mat. Your die is like a knife, cutting through your paper, and into your cutting mat. This is suppose to happen and happens on all die cutting machines.
