Ep. 580 – The Imaginisce iBond, a Flower and a Contest!!

Scrap Time - Ep. 580 - Imaginisce iBond, a Flower and a Contest!

Today I am showing you the iBond from Imaginisce!! The iBond is a cordless glue gun! I have been wanting a cordless glue gun for a while and since getting it, it has been stationed on my work table!! I love that it is pink! It sits firmly on the table without slipping over. It requires 4 AA Batteries, and heats up fairly quickly! It takes regular mini glue sticks that you can buy anywhere! And it has a light, so if you are gluing in a corner, or in a dark area, you can see what you are doing! The iBond has everything I need in a cordless glue gun!!

Scrap Time - Ep. 580 - Imaginisce iBond, a Flower and a Contest!

And as an extra bonus, watch the video to see how I made this flower!! It can be used as a hair clip, a pin or on your gifts!!

Plus!! You can win an iBond of your own!!! Leave me a comment here on the blog letting me know what you would Bond with your iBond!!

Contest closes Monday, December 20th at 11:59 pm EST!!

Be sure to check out the Imaginisce Site to see all of their products!!

There are way to many uses for this product but first thought is that I am currently working on a fishing layout and placing it into a shadow box so I would use the iBond to secure some pebbles and greenery, and fishing lures.

Like you, I have been wanting a cordless glue gun for a very long time. Mostly because my space is small and my son (& cat) like to join me in my crafting space. It would be much safer without the cord!! The light would be wonderful for my poor eyesight too. I would start with the yummy project you made on the video, in a ton of colours. Yummy blue & silver, or green and red. My budget is small, so purchases are based on your excellent video advice. I know it must be a lot of work, but your videos are so much appreciated and so helpful for me. Keep up the good work!! This glue gun is now on my list of purchases.

Oh, I gotta have this! I’d use it all over the place since it’s cordless, but it would get the most use on flowers, rosettes and the like in my paper-crafting!

    Hi Christine –

What a fabulous tool! I have a regular glue gun but seldom use it because I’m always getting tangled in the cord. Just imagine, having a glue gun that you don’t have to sit in a designated space to use it! No longer worrying about getting the cord stuck in inks, knocking things off the table – WOW! I could use this to do my paper rosettes, glue on 3D embellishments, oh the things this little gem can do!
Christine, thank you for the flower tutorial. I love how it turned out. I love to collect new handmade flower techniques and this one is a keeper.

    Happy Holidays!

Well, I am currently redoing my bedroom in a beach theme and am in the process of framing family beach pictures with sand and sea shells we collected on our last vacation…and I can’t find my hot glue gun!! It is an old corded one…so I think a new, pink, cordless one would be perfect for all my beach decorations!! Thanks! :)

    Oooooh this would be great!

I have a corded one … it drives me nuts. I always end up with the cord getting tangled & twisted, so it gets shorter and shorter which is the part that makes me nuts. Wasting time to untwisted/tangle … ARGH! Lol

Maybe I’d enjoy the glue gun more cos it’s cordless … and PINK!

    Haha!

Thanks for a chance to win!

I have been doing a lot of altering regular bags for gift bags lately and am having trouble getting the elements to stay on the bag. Everything seems glued down well until the bag is opened up and sits open for a while, then everything seems to slowing slide down the side of the bag :) Not happy for me. A cordless glue gun! What a fabulous idea. I wish I had one right this minute. A bunch of embellishments just fell off the wreath on my front door and I need to take it down to repair it with my (regular, old) glue gun. The flower is so cute. I can see myself making some of those. I can also see myself using the iBond at my school for putting some items up on the wall in the hallway. It is difficult sometimes as the plugs are spaced out so far from where I want to hang some stuff sometimes. A cordless glue gun would come in handy.

This is the perfect solution and I know it will be forever before anyone has it locally :-(

I very rarely use my glue gun right now because I never have a free outlet to plug it in. This makes me stuck using glue for projects that takes forever to dry. If I had a cordless glue gun, I would use it to glue flowers onto glass ornaments, add chunky embellishments to mini books, and for adding gems to cards. The best thing about this glue gun (besides being cordless) is the fact that it is pink which happens to be my favorite color and even matches my crafting room. Thank you for the opportunity to win this great prize.

Oh what a fantastic tool! Imaginisce has certainly done it again! This would be the perfect addition to any crafters supplies! I would certainly use this tool to bond everything from felt, wood, foam to paper and everything in between! It certainly would be perfect for finishing up with the shadowbox projects I have been working on for the holidays!

So cute! I could bond everything with it for my crafts (albums, cards, ornaments… ) ohhh everything!! It’s AWESOME!!

I’d love to experiment with the iBond…maybe try some embellies sprinkled with glitter or adhering cloth binding to an altered art book. I think there would be a million ways to use this tool!

I would use the iBond for EVERYTHING! I love the accessibility of having a cordless glue gun, since it means you can take it anywhere and everywhere and be able to use it without searching for an outlet. I would love to use it to make my own homemade bows for the holidays and birthdays…thank you for the great giveaway!

You always have the best tools! I would glue together Mickey & Minnie. My 20 month old grandson loves Mickey, Minnie and ‘Gonal Guck’, after being at Disney World this fall. He was playing with the Christmas ornnament, and an arm and scarf fell off.

Gemma will look so pretty with this flower in her hair! Thanks to you, I bought and LOVE the IRock. I’ve had glue guns for many years but my actual crafting space on my table has always been very limited since I have to be so careful with dragging things off with that blame cord. Wow, now a PINK, CORDLESS glue gun! Love the light too! With 4 grandsons huddled under me I haven’t dared to craft. Now I can and they’ll be perfectly safe! Thank you, Christine, you’ve made another sale. May your family stay safe and well. Merry Christmas!

Everything that’s not moving! Seriously I have a lot of home decor projects that need a glue gun to be completed. I love the idea of not having to worry about dragging a cord across my work space messing things up!

I think the cordless iBond will have a lot of uses . I make cemetery arrangements for my Father and Sister’s grave. I glue the flowers into the floral foam. It would be great to have a portable glue gun to take with me in case an arrangement on the grave needs a small repair.

What wouldn’t I-bond with it? (Get it–the pun…)! I would most likely make girlie bows for my daughter. She would get just as much use out of it as I would (maybe even more)!

  115. Posted December 18, 2010 at 7:04 am | Permalink

I know if I had an iBond that I would make even more flowers! When I go to crops with friends I always wind up making flowers for everyone and I’d love the speed and ease of a cordless glue gun. I have a glue gun I use at home but have been using those liquid adhesives that are similar to but not as easy as actual glue guns. Thanks so much for showing off the iBond and for having the contest!

Imaginisce has done it again. I would have loved to have this when I was making Christmas decorations. I hate having to crawl under my table to plug something in (getting too old for that!). I like making the hair accessories for my granddaughters and think the hot glue works best. This is definitely on my wish list.

Love the flower. This glue gun will open up so many possibilities not being tied down with a cord. Thanks for sharing.

A cordless glue gun sounds fabulous! I love it! I love all Imaginisce products so I’d love to add this to my collection! :)

I have many projects I “want” to do that I would use this for – I think I’d try some homemade bows first – just for fun! I’ve been saving an awful lot of old jars, etc so I’d probably get decorating them too!

Thanks for always showing us fabulous new products! :)

This glue gun looks great. I have 3 very large dogs that like to be in my craft room the same time I am and are always pulling my glue gun off the table because of the cord. This is a very generous giveaway. Thank you for the chance to win.

    Hi Christine:
What a neat tool and another great video demonstration. I am currently on a dimensional, multiple layered flower kick so this would come in very handy. My husband knows who I am quoting when I say, “Christine said such and such or Christine showed me how to do this project!” He also knows I make lots of orders for supplies based on your demos! All I can say is, “Keep up the good work!”

What a great idea! I have been making tons of paper rosettes lately and the cord from my hot glue gun is always in the way & knocking things down. I think my first use for this new toy would be more rosettes and then I’ll make some pins. Thanks for another great review/tutorial!

I would love this!! I could use this for SO many projects including creating my own decor, scrapbooking projects, homeschool projects w/ the kiddos. I just created a utensil container, and it was a pain using my glue gun w/ the cord! Hope I can get this!! :) Thanks for the chance to win!

    :O A CORDLESS GLUE GUN

Well I’d like to use it on paper toting, since I’ve been doing that recently… And I have some felt pieces I’d like to cut and glue onto cards. And maybe glue some patterned paper to a really tough I4 cover so I can finish up my remote control holder (:

SUCH a cute idea!! When you first pulled out that piece of satin I had no idea how you were going to transform it into that pretty flower!! LOVE IT! I have a cordless glue gun which I seldom use because I don’t have space to plug it in! The last time I used it was to decorate pumpkins at Halloween and I had to put it on top of my water cooler cuz the cord would not reach the table or counter….grrrr….
    Thanks for the great idea/video/contest!

Fabric flowers! Stampin Up has a large flower die and I want to use the glue gun to glue the layers of flowers together to end up with grunge flowers.

Awesome! Love that it is cordless!!! It being pink is an added bonus!!! I would use it for so many things. To attach bigger bling to layouts and things like that. :)

I am tickled pink that someone has come up with a cordless glue gun! WOW! Like so many of the other people’s comments, getting out a regular glue gun is a real pain! Having a cordless one would make my life a lot easier. For some reason there is never an outlet when I want to use the hot glue. This little pink baby gun would be perfect. If I were still teaching, it would be a must have in the classroom for all the craft projects. Love your lovely flower. Must make some of those beauties. Thanks for making it look so easy. Have a wonderful holiday season.
