I did it on watercolour paper. Not sure how it would work on scrapbooking papers. Test it on a scrap first.

I have to say that it never occured to me to go direct to paper and then use the blending tool to move the ink around. I know how long Distress Ink stays wet, but I was surprised at how much of the page you covered with the colors. I can’t wait to try this at home. Thanks for sharing this technique.
